"Captain of the Enterprise" (justanotherdayinparadise)

Picture was taken while completely stopped and at a red light. Anyway I think it could be homophobic but maybe he just likes SRT8’s, but then again its just a regular Grand Cherokee. I’m wondering how this got through the Secretary of State Office (Michigan’s version of the DMV). It could have been unintentional though.

Not STR8. SRT8.

Maybe the guy had an SRT8 and fell on hard times so he had to trade it in for a "regular" GC? I read it just as it says too. I don't think there was any malicious intent here.

I don’t get how this is homophobic...
EDIT: Nvm, I get it. But it's spelled wrong.

Homophobic would be STR8LUV, which is what I read it as at first!

Cool story, bros: EVERY time I have ever seen SRT8 in my life, I’ve seen it as STR8.
I watched way too much Bumper Stumpers as a kid, so now I’m obsessed with bad puns. And “8” is the best part.
For example: COPUL8. Hey, I’m just saying the police aren’t that punctual. Also, I like sex.

Even on a SRT8, not that funny or clever of a plate even. I’m considering getting ‘JUSTADE” for my 350Z but only other vq engine enthusiats would understand it/the joke. other people would just be like ‘what’s a....a deh?’ -.- my buddy’s gf is looking at ‘2FOST4U’ for her FoSt, haha

My guess is he loves SRT8’s but can’t afford one. That would have been my first thought.

I think it’s a stretch to call it homophobic. Maybe he used to have an SRT-8? Either way vanity plates are for the birds.

If the R and T were reversed I would think that, but I could see other peoole reading it that way.

Do you have this same misspelling crisis when you see an actual SRT8 badge on a JGC?

Its hard to say because I don’t really read it, instead I just recognize it as an SRT badge. I think I might, or my brain subconsciously tried to make the jumble of letters a word.
